StackMaster Controller R3 & StackMaster Studio Combo
StackMaster Controller R3 & StackMaster Studio Combo
The newly developed controller StackMaster R3 is total new development and uses an more powerfull microcontroller and is equipped with a lot of innovative technologies. An enhanced User Interface (UI) provides easy access and maximum functionality. Thanks to an enhanced integrated WLAN system, it can be operated directly with any terminal device that has Wi-Fi. This also eliminates the need for cumbersome software installation.
In combination with the StackMaster Studio Macroslide and the Stonemaster StackTripod ST-1 this is the perfect Combo for highresolution panorama Focusstacking-
The StackMaster Studio Macroslide provides a minimum steplength of 0,5µm.
The newly available X/Y-table allows the posibillity to create Panorama in combination with Focus stacking.
Optionally available sensors such as proximity switches, light barriers, IR barriers, etc. can be connected to the controller. These are used to start the stack function automatically. The controller allows you to controll RGB LED lights directly or via an optional relay box external LED solutions.
The technical key feathures are:
- Software integrated in the controller;
- WLAN: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi;
- Size: 175x106x55 mm (L x W x H);
- Weight: 470g;
- Power supply: 12-24V;
- 3 GX-12 connectors to attach X/Y/Z stepper motors, up to 1,2A (NEMA 17 class);
- Connector 2,5mm jack for camera remote shutter release;
- Connector 3,5mm jack for div.sensors;
- Connector 3,5mm jack for RGB-LED direct controll or via external relay box;
- Acustical and optical feedback system;
- The controller can be used to control all cameras that have a connection for a remote trigger. To connect the controller with the camera you need a control cable (optionally available, see under accessories);
- An IR remote trigger, proximity switches, light barriers, IR barriers, etc. are also available;

- Manual movement of the carriage - slow, medium and fast
- Stacks with fixed starting point. End point can be determined manually by STOP button;
- Stacks with fixed start and end point;
- Single steps at the end of each stack;
- Video function;
- Video stacks;
- Video & Timelapse motion via profiles;
- Timelapse functionality;
- Enhanced Panorama functions to control Tilt/Pan heads;
- Photogrammety capabilyties;
- Support for rotary and linear motion;
- Integrated step size calculator;
- Database for different sets;
- Output of a protocol about the made stack;
- OTA software and firmware update possible;
- Direct RGB LED controll or via external optinal relay box standalone LED solutions;
- Supported languages: German, English, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish;
- and much more.

As accessories we deliver a 12V/3000mA battery with charge level indicator, USB connector and charger (for mobile use) or a power supply (for studio use).
One battery charge lasts 1-3 days. This is possible due to a very energy-saving design of the controller and the software.
The controller contains all functions that are important and useful for stacking out- and indoors. A combination of Video\Timelapse with Panorama functionality is also possible.
